The Writers Room (I.O.W.A) Pre Event: Join The Writers Room of Iowa City on Friday, November 6th for a Haunted Bookshop event. Listen to live author readings, panel discussions, and additional programming with local authors. Hawkeye Haiku Writing Contest: From October 21st through November 18th, all ages have the opportunity to channel their creativity during the University of Iowa Alumni and Friends Hawkeye Haiku Contest, which is open to alumni, faculty and staff, students, and friends of any age. Prime Rib Class: Have you ever wanted to learn how to make the perfect Prime Rib? Well, look no further than the Prime Rib class offered by The Grill Works on November 7th. Learn from award winning pitmasters, Bryan Meyer and Mike Givens, how to prepare, season, and serve amazing prime rib to your family and friends!
