CPU Crew program overview

CPU Crew is a nonprofit youth community service program that offers kids between the ages of eleven and fifteen the opportunity to have fun while volunteering in their community. Crew members gain valuable experience while making memories that last a lifetime.

There is no charge for kids to participate. Our program is funded only by grants, sponsors, donations, community partnerships and people with giving hearts.

During our Summer 2022 program, Crew members will pressure wash buildings, clean a creek, weed gardens, paint, do yard work and much more. With your generous donation, we’ll also be able to build birdhouses, learn leather stamping and plan a grand finale end-of-summer party to celebrate our hard work.

We have partnered with the Center Point Parks and Recreation Department and American Legion to maximize our positive impact on the community. Together, we can offer our kids more amazing opportunities to work hard and have fun.

OUR GOALS FOR 2022:

1. Complete three special projects:

    • Park mural preparation - Pressure wash and primer three walls of a park building in preparation for murals to be painted by an artist.
    • Celebrate flag day - Raise money to purchase flags and place them in Center Point to celebrate Flag Day – bringing unity and pride to our community.
    • Creek area restoration - Create a safe place for residents to enjoy the creek at Wakema Park.

2. Keep our city parks beautiful and clean all summer long

3. Help our neighbors and community, while having fun and making memories
